Luma Reader ("the App") is a personal reading utility designed for offline reading and text-to-speech functionality. Your privacy is paramount: Luma Reader operates strictly on-device and does not collect, store, or transmit your personal data to external servers.

• No Account Creation: You do not need to register an account or provide any personal information to use the App.
• Local Storage Only: Your library items, bookmarks, reading progress, and app preferences are stored exclusively on your device's local storage.
• No Analytics or Tracking: The App contains no third-party analytics, tracking SDKs, telemetry, or advertising identifiers.

3. Network Usage

Luma Reader accesses the internet only upon your direct action:

• Web Browsing & Downloads: When you type or navigate to a web address in the built-in browser, pages are fetched directly from the destination server.
• Voice Models: Optional open-source text-to-speech voice models are downloaded directly from their official public release repositories when requested.
• Cookies: Browsing sessions manage standard web cookies locally on your device. You can clear all stored site data and cookies at any time via Settings > Clear site data & cookies.

4. Third-Party Services

Luma Reader does not share, sell, or disclose user data to any third-party organizations. Websites accessed through the App's browser operate under their respective privacy policies and terms.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

Because all data remains on your physical device:

• Uninstalling the App permanently deletes all locally stored library files, reading history, and app settings.
• You can export a local backup of your library at any time using the in-app backup feature.

6. Children’s Privacy

Luma Reader does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone, including children under the age of 13.
